PROINSO attends PV EXPO 2014, Japan’s largest PV power generation expo

Wednesday, Feb 19, 2014

The leading international supplier of PV solar products PROINSO will attend PV EXPO 2014 in Tokyo, from 26 to 28 February. This is the largest PV expo in Japan, where PROINSO wants to expand its presence. In its stand (E31-25), PROINSO will show for the second straight year in Japan the solutions and products from leading brands the multinational firm exports all over the world.

PROINSO distributes more than 500 PV products globally from about 50 brands and manufacturers. Some of these PV products are inverters, modules, trackers, structures, batteries, and more, manufactured by top brands like SMA, JINKO SOLAR, YINGLI SOLAR, TRINA SOLAR, MECASOLAR and Renusol, among others.

By attending PV EXPO 2014, PROINSO is making a stronger bid in the solar PV market in Japan, where the firm has participated in many trade shows specialising in PV power generation and opened a representative office in Tokyo in February last year. ‘We know that Japan is one of the three largest markets in our industry, so PROINSO can’t miss the chance to be there,’ company sources said.

They remarked that Japan is expected to install 10,000MW in PV solar facilities in the near future, to reach 20,000MW by 2016.

In November 2013, PROINSO supplied products with more than 300kWp output to different solar installations in the Gunma Prefecture, on the island of Honshu, Japan. Besides Japan, PROINSO also operates in India, China, Southeast Asia and Australia.

Moreover, the company has 2,448 Qualified Installers in its International Network.

Product catalogue

All the products supplied by PROINSO are listed in the PROINSO SOLAR CATALOGUE, a 440-page reference manual that contains all the technical information and datasheets from the world’s leading manufacturers, in a clearly arranged and properly classified fashion that simplifies product search.

Installers can view the catalogue online, download it as a PDF file or even get it at the App Store as the first-ever on-the-go catalogue for iPad or Android. So far, the catalogue has been downloaded more than 20,000 times, and 10,000 copies were sent to installers around the world.
