Vivint Solar’s popularity grows in New Jersey, saves customers money

Wednesday, Aug 08, 2012

Vivint Solar continues to gain momentum in New Jersey as customers adopt the company’s simple and affordable solar solutions. Vivint Solar first made its offerings available to New Jersey residents in the summer of 2011, and has since grown into other North American markets, including Massachusetts, Hawaii, and most recently, California.

“In just a few short months I've seen my energy bills go from an average of $116 a month to $58 a month. I couldn't be happier.”

With Vivint Solar, consumers have a money-saving, clean and renewable alternative to power their home. Vivint Solar customers save money on energy through the company’s power purchase agreement (PPA), in which customers agree to purchase the power their solar panels generate at rates significantly lower than their typical power bill. In exchange, Vivint Solar designs, installs and maintains the system for free, allowing customers to enjoy the benefits of renewable solar energy without a large, up-front investment.

“I chose Vivint Solar to save energy and help the environment,” said Patricia Richard, a Vivint Solar customer in Nutley, New Jersey. “In just a few short months I've seen my energy bills go from an average of $116 a month to $58 a month. I couldn't be happier."

New Jersey customers are also praising the company’s end-to-end customer service, which provides users a network of knowledgeable representatives who provide guidance and offer assistance along every step of the process, from installation to maintenance.

"From sales to installation, the Vivint Solar team has been professional, thoughtful, and willing to answer all of my questions,” said Ivette Carneiro, New Jersey resident and Vivint Solar customer. “The installation of my solar panels was seamless. I've truly appreciated the outstanding customer service and Vivint’s willingness to be there through the entire process."
