Stream Energy and its marketing arm, Ignite rank 16th internationally on the recent list of the Top 100 Direct Selling Companies in the World in Direct Selling News, attesting to the company’s place in the top tier of the direct sales industry.

“Many have achieved levels of success beyond what they ever imagined. We are proud to be part of that”

The distinction is further evidence of the success and innovation of the business model pioneered by Stream Energy, a Dallas, Texas-based retail energy provider. Stream Energy and its marketing arm Ignite are approaching $900 million in annual revenue after five years in business, a 1000% growth curve. The company markets electric service in Texas and natural gas service in Georgia using a person-to-person marketing style that has shared the company’s success with thousands of associates.

Chairman Rob Snyder said, "Ignite's continued growth is proof that consumers are hungry for the power to choose among energy providers." He added, "Our vision was to empower Ignite associates to educate the marketplace about the differences among deregulated energy retailers. We welcome the ability to compete for the business of energy customers."

Ignite associates come from all walks of life. "Many have achieved levels of success beyond what they ever imagined. We are proud to be part of that," added Mr. Snyder.

Rob Snyder is a recognized figure in the energy sector, having been named regional Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year and leading Stream to many accolades, including as a finalist for Platts Global Energy Rising Star Award and the top 200 in the Inc. 500 privately held companies.
