Acro Energy Offers Limited-time 12-month free solar promotion
Thursday, Aug 16, 2012
Acro Energy, a leading solar installation firm with 25 years of solar experience, will offer 12 months of free solar to new customers through Aug. 31, 2012 as part of aggressive expansion in the Southern California market. Valid exclusively with monthly leases, the limited-time promotion allows qualified residents to sign up for a solar energy system installed by Acro Energy.
“Today solar power is nearly equal to the cost of traditional electricity, allowing more and more people to go solar and opening the door for new jobs and robust sales growth in California.
“Our 12-month free solar promotion is one of the largest rebate programs currently on the market,” said Eric Williams, chief revenue officer for Acro Energy. “With California Solar Initiative Residential Program rebates drying up this fall in the SDG&E Territory, converting to solar energy this summer makes better financial sense than ever.”
Headquartered in Modesto, Calif., Acro Energy ranks among the state’s fifth largest solar integrators, according to California Solar Initiative (CSI) data. The company has installed solar energy into more than 4,000 residential, commercial and agricultural solar power systems nationwide. To handle the increasing demand in California, Acro Energy will soon open new corporate offices and a call center in San Diego, resulting in 54 new jobs and 175 new canvassers statewide by the year’s end.
“The cost of solar power has dropped significantly over the last four years, making solar power systems more affordable and accessible to a wider range of homeowners,” said Harry Fleming, CEO of Acro Energy.
“Today solar power is nearly equal to the cost of traditional electricity, allowing more and more people to go solar and opening the door for new jobs and robust sales growth in California.”
Acro Energy customers can also access affordable solar installation financing, which removes the high upfront capital investment necessary to purchase solar panels. The lease option gives homeowners the ability to pay little to nothing down, while immediately reducing their monthly electric bill. Homeowners save thousands of dollars over the life of the lease as they avoid annual electricity rate increases from their local utility.
